autumn essentials

Hey everyone! Todays I am getting into the autumn loving spirit (even though winter beats it by a MILE) and doing a little collection of all the things I love about Autumn. Enjoy!

Ok so I think a really dark berry lip is essential in autumn! This is one of the Rimmel Kate Moss lipsticks and has the best consistency ever!

By this, I mean cosy nights in with blankets and films (netflix and chill aye)! After Finding Nemo, these are my two favourite films, and I will watch these with a big bowl of Cadbury Pebbles. Sorry not sorry...

I am more likely to wear a scarf in the Autumn than in the winter. In winter I go past the point of caring and just wear a trillion layers to be warm but in Autumn, its an opourtunity to look nicely warm and not over heat!

SLIPPERS! I get really cold feet so the only way to keep me happy is by wearing slippers! These are the comfiest things ever and they were only £4 at Primark!

Hot drinks! Last year, I was totally digging the hot chocolates. Now I am in a constant cappuccino mood! They're actually really nice, if you don't like coffee, try cappuccino sachets.. promise!

Warm smelling candles. Obviously you can't smell warmth but this literally smells like a Grandmas kitchen a few days before Christmas where she is baking really cute things and its all cute and cosy! This was from Matalan for £3 but the packaging has changed now.

No I'm not saying get your old teddy bears out but this picture is to represent having cuddles. Cuddle on the sofa and just chill. Autumn is definitely the best time for this! (FACT OF THE DAY: This was the first teddy my dad ever brought for me. how cute!)

Hope you enjoyed and may inspire some Autumn fun!
see you soon,

travel bucket list

I'm sure I'm not the only one that has a huge list of places that they really really want to visit and wrote them all down? Yes? Please say yes. I thought I would share with you my top five places I want to visit. (DISCLAIMER pictures aren't mine)

1. Anna Maria Island, Florida. Ok so this is cheating a bit because I have already been here in 2013 but is literally the quietest and prettiest place I have ever been! It is sooo beautiful!!! TIP: If you go here, they have the best icecream EVER - its from a shop called "Two Scoops". Promisee!!

2. Italy. I just think it looks so pretty and romantic and its quite close to England so travel wouldn't be that long and my Grandparents used to go there quite a lot so I would want to go to see what they saw! Just look how nice that picture is!

3. Hollywood. Yes I know, extremely cliche but as a lover of all things acting and singing, I would love to see it! You never know, you may accidentally bump into someone famous too!

4. Brazil. Basically, I just want to go and watch all the big carnivals and go to Rio (shoutout to everyone who loves the film as much as i do.. a lot)! I think it looks amazing but the only thing stopping me is the mega long flight from England!

5. Dubai. I want to go here so bad! I love the fact that its really pretty yet got so many buildings! I would love to stay on one of those manmade island things but its just so expensive!

So now you know my taste in..well.. countries?!
Hope you enjoyed,
see you real soon,

homeware haul

I have just started re decorating my bedroom! Hence I have brought a lot of new items ready for my new room and I thought I would share a few of those with you. The theme is Vintage Floral and is based around beiges and pinks...

This is the bedding set and curtain pattern I have for my room. I will also have one of the walls wallpapered with this print on it. It is the "Botanica Butterfly" collection from Dunelm which you can purchase HERE

This is a cute little ornament I found from Wilkinsons from £4. I thought it would go nicely with my butterfly bedding and I can imagine it on my desk!

I have a confession... I have a cushion obsession! I am absolutely addicted! So, in my eyes, a new room is the perfect excuse for new cushions! This one was from Primark and it was only £4. Its also really fluffy (is that the word?!) and nice to cuddle!

HOW CUTE IS THIS?!?!?! This is a little plaque that reads "I only want to Bee with you" and there are two little bees kissing! HOW CUTE. I brought this from a little shop in Wales somewhere and it was £3.99. But I think you can buy similar things on Amazon.

Another little item to hang off a wall, this metal heart is from Primark and it was £1. I'm not joking!! I have had a new bed (a cream day bed) and I thought this would look really nice hanging on one of the bed posts.

Surprise surprise, another cushion! This one was £8 from Tesco (I can't find a link to it sorry) and it has lots of little quotes on it about loving life and being happy. It looks very inspirational and would be nice to wake up to!

Another purchase from Tescos. This pot was £3 (I think) and I think I am going to use it store earrings in. Again, it goes with the theme of my bedroom and is actually really good quality!

The final thing I am going to show you is this canvas I brought from Tescos. This was £7 (I think but I can't find the link) and its pastel green and says "You are the sugar to my Tea". I just thought this was adorable! To be honest, I think it is probably meant for a kitchen but I thought it would look quite nice in my vintage room so I got it!

I hope you enjoyed this little haul and I will see you VERY soon !
