homeware haul

I have just started re decorating my bedroom! Hence I have brought a lot of new items ready for my new room and I thought I would share a few of those with you. The theme is Vintage Floral and is based around beiges and pinks...

This is the bedding set and curtain pattern I have for my room. I will also have one of the walls wallpapered with this print on it. It is the "Botanica Butterfly" collection from Dunelm which you can purchase HERE. 

This is a cute little ornament I found from Wilkinsons from £4. I thought it would go nicely with my butterfly bedding and I can imagine it on my desk! 

I have a confession... I have a cushion obsession! I am absolutely addicted! So, in my eyes, a new room is the perfect excuse for new cushions! This one was from Primark and it was only £4. Its also really fluffy (is that the word?!) and nice to cuddle!

HOW CUTE IS THIS?!?!?! This is a little plaque that reads "I only want to Bee with you" and there are two little bees kissing! HOW CUTE. I brought this from a little shop in Wales somewhere and it was £3.99. But I think you can buy similar things on Amazon. 

Another little item to hang off a wall, this metal heart is from Primark and it was £1. I'm not joking!! I have had a new bed (a cream day bed) and I thought this would look really nice hanging on one of the bed posts. 

Surprise surprise, another cushion! This one was £8 from Tesco (I can't find a link to it sorry) and it has lots of little quotes on it about loving life and being happy. It looks very inspirational and would be nice to wake up to!

Another purchase from Tescos. This pot was £3 (I think) and I think I am going to use it store earrings in. Again, it goes with the theme of my bedroom and is actually really good quality! 

The final thing I am going to show you is this canvas I brought from Tescos. This was £7 (I think but I can't find the link) and its pastel green and says "You are the sugar to my Tea". I just thought this was adorable! To be honest, I think it is probably meant for a kitchen but I thought it would look quite nice in my vintage room so I got it!

empties

Today I am going to do a empties post but its not just beauty stuff their is a really random thing haha! So here are my updated empties... 

Sadly, I have used up my Body Shop Chocomania body butter! I think it was a special edition as well so I don't know if I can get it again. If I see it in store, I will be re purchasing!

Its not completely gone but I don't like trying to get little bits of powder from around the pan. My Rimmel Stay Matte pressed powder has gone! I don't think I am going to get this again because I prefer the No 7 one even thought is is more pricey.

Again, its not all gone but I don't like scraping "the bowl"... My No 7 blusher has gone now. This was my favourite but to be honest I think my natural collection one is just as good and its a lot cheaper.

Alongside Revlon Colour Stay, this is probably my favourite foundation.. I have rambled on about it enough before! I would always always recommend this, its ace.

This is a hair product and it is Charles Worthington Volume spray. Firstly, it smells gorgeous and also it makes you hair not stick to your head as much!

This is actually a really good mascara. It has a really good brush and the consistency makes your lashes look really full. It is one of the Rimmel Scandal eyes flex ones.

So heres my random one but I have been really loving Maoam pinballs! They are just like hard shells and they are chewy in the middle.. seriously go and buy some. Now. GO.

what's in my bag?

oooooh never done one of these before! So here you are, if you are nosey like me, you will probably really enjoy this post! Whats in my handbag you may ask? Well here is my answer... 

Also I am going to try and get links to things from now on! 

So this is my bag. It is a Liz Claiborne black quilted bag which is actually quite big. Its got 4 pockets and is shiny on the outside. I couldn't find an exact link so I click HERE  for the website. They are kind of expensive, about £50 but to be honest my other favourite bag is £10 from Primark!

I always make sure to have pen and paper in my bag. If I am out and about I might need to remember something to do at home or its good for shopping lists! Just really handy. 

I always keep a deodorant in my bag to freshen up. This is my all time favourite and it is Charlie Enchant. I also like to have a mini hairspray handy as it is most likely that my hair will go frizzy at some point! Mini hairsprays are about £1.50 in super drug (click HERE). 

Been as it is the summer and you never know when the good ole British sun might step out, I carry my sunglasses with me. These are actually old prescription glassed from Supersavers (oops) but I just like the style of them! 

Obviously I take my purse with me for buying things or getting the bus or whatever. This is also black and quilted (little theme aha) but from Primark at around £3. 

Polos. I just like mint and it makes your breath smell nice. So yeah, polos. 

These are sort of like my essential things. I have tissues and house keys for their obvious reasons. How cute is the little keyring which my mum brought me when we were shopping! Its got all sweet quotes in it about being a mum and a daughter.. aww. 

I always have some sort of Lipstick in my handbag because it is bound to come off during the day so I can just re apply it! This is MAC lipstick in the shade Hot Tahiti which you can purchase HERE. 

(sorry this picture isn't great) Lastly, I have my phone. This is an iPhone 4s but I should be getting a new one soon. You could get this from any phone shop really and I think they average at about £17 per month if you were to go on contract.

So, apart from sweet wrappers and receipts, that is everything I have in my bag!

my sock addiction

You probably think I have gone mad from the title and you probably are mad because I haven't posted for ages. Basically, I ran out of ideas and my creativeness died.

BUT I AM BACK AND I AM HERE TO BOOGIE 

So recently I have been going to shops and buying loads of really cute socks and I thought I would share them with you because they are just so C U T E ! ! ! 

1. Flowers and bees. Seriously, who doesn't want flowers and bees on their socks?

2. Tortoises. or are they turtles? I don't know, I don't care.. I LOVE THEM

3. Really sweet and adorable tigers! I fell in love with these. 

4. Pug socks. Pugs on socks. I LITERALLY COULD MARRY THEM

5. My personal favourite, cows in the flowery fields! aaahhhhh

6. Just for the classier look, I went for some snazzy flowers

7. Giraffes with glasses - how cute are these?!?!

8. Again for the classier approach.. I got frilly black ones, aw

So those are my socks. Bit weird I suppose but yannoe, I love em!
